Activating the Motion Sensor
1. Remove the front cover of the Motion Sensor by pressing the tab at the bottom with your finger or pen.
2. Pull the Battery Tab.
NOTE: When the battery tab is pulled properly, you wull see the red light go on. When the red light goes out, the motion sensor is still working. 

Place Preprogrammed Motion Sensor
Your Motion Sensor has been preregistered to your LifeShield system. All you need to do is mount it properly to the wall in order to start using it.
3.  Figure out which end of the sensor is top and which end is the bottom. NOTE: If your sensor is placed upside down it will not work (see main image)
4.  Decide where to put your motion sensor in your home.
  • Avoid areas that could trigger false alarms such as air conditioning units, heat, fans, or direct sunlight.
  • The recommended mounting height is 7.5 feet.
  • Make sure the Motion Sensor has a clear line of sight and isn't blocked by objects such as curtains or furniture.
  • Your Motion Sensor can be mounted on a flat wall or in a corner of a room or hallway.
5.  Clean the area where you have chosen to place your Motion Sensor to ensure the tape holds firmly to the wall.
6.  Double check to make sure your sensor is the correct orientation (not upside-down)
7.  Remove the lIght blue paper from the tape and stick the tape on the sensor. Then remove the white paper from the other side of the tape, and stick the sensor on the wall. 
If you ordered additional motion sensors follow these steps to register it to your system.
Add Additional Motion Sensors
1.  Separate the front and back covers of the Motion Sensor by pressing the tab with your finger or a pen. Remove the battery.
2.  Press MENU on the Console
3.  Scroll to Security Setup, press SELECT
4.  Enter the Master Code*
5.  Scroll to Sensors, press SELECT
6.  Scroll to <Add New>, press SELECT
7.  Scroll to Motion, press SELECT
8.  Following the instructions displayed on the LCD screen:
-  The Console will display “Preparing to Add” and will start a 5 second countdown.
-  The Console will then read “Insert Battery”; insert the battery into the Motion Sensor. You will have 30 seconds to complete this step.
9.   When the Motion Sensor has successfully been added you will hear a confirmation beep
10.  If there is no confirmation beep, remove the battery from the Motion Sensor then re-insert the battery into the Motion Sensor to cause another power-up registration message to be sent.
11.  Once the Motion Sensor has been added to the LifeShield system use the Edit feature to rename the device (if desired). Press DELETE to erase text and use the keypad keys to type new text. Press OK.
12.  Re-attach the front cover of the Motion Sensor and place the motion sensor
