LifeShield Security Return & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to purchases made directly from lifeshield.com, through a LifeShield Security Advisor, or through an authorized partner.

If you decide not to keep the LifeShield product and service, please call 1-877-572-3780 within 30 calendar days of your initial order date for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. All returns must be requested within 30 days of your original order date per your product/service agreement. Accessory products purchased with a kit or separately from a kit are also subject to return policies listed here. Returns must be in the original box with all parts and manuals in original, resalable condition, along with a copy of your purchase receipt. Be sure to include the RMA number on the return package label (included in original shipment). We will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. A $50 restocking fee and shipping charges will be deducted from the amount refunded. Returns must be postmarked by and received in our warehouse within 20 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA number. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, stickers, signs, documentation and registration that shipped with the product, and the products must be in new, resalable condition. Incomplete, missing, or damaged products not in resalable condition or products not meeting the return guidelines outlined in your product/service agreement will be subject to MSRP charges. No returns will be accepted without an RMA number.

For returns meeting the guidelines above please allow an estimated 14 calendar days for refunds to be credited to the original purchasing credit card.

You may cancel security monitoring services if you are a member of a branch of the United States armed forces or reserves and get called for military duty away from your residence.  You must contact us by calling 1-877-572-3780 and provide proof of your service by mailing the supporting paperwork to corporate headquarters after speaking with a LifeShield Security Advisor.

Service may also be cancelled if the subscriber dies during the term of the service agreement.  The executor of the Subscriber’s estate or next of kin should contact us and provide us with a valid death certificate.  Upon receipt of a valid death certificate, we will terminate the security agreement without penalty.

LifeShield contracts renew per the terms of the initial product and service contract. Subscribers that do not intend to renew need to give at least 60 days written notice of the intention to not renew prior to the start of the renewal term, per your service agreement.
