Trouble Condition: "Low Batt" (Low Battery)
SOLUTION TO SIREN DETECTOR - "LOW BATT" (LOW BATTERY)

If you get an alert on the Console, Handset, or in LifeShield notifying you that the Siren Detector has “Low Bat,” you should check the battery and possibly replace it. The notice means the Sensor may not work properly.

To Check the Siren Detector Battery:
1.  Remove Siren Detector cover, separating it from bracket on ceiling.
2.  Remove Battery and leave it out for 30 seconds; then put Battery back into Sensor cover and snap Siren Detector cover back onto bottom bracket still on ceiling.
3.  Check Console or LifeShield to see if “Low Bat” message has gone away.

If “Low Batt” message is still displayed, you will need to replace the battery.

To Order a New Battery:
Log in to LifeShield, click on “Shop” tab, and find “Siren Detector Batteries (2pk)” listed under “Accessories.”
 
When battery arrives, replace battery as follows:
1.  Remove Siren Detector cover, separating it from bracket on ceiling.
2.  Remove Battery and replace it with new one.
3.  Snap Siren Detector cover back onto bottom bracket still on ceiling.
4.  Check Console or LifeShield to see if “Low Bat” message has gone away.
