Trouble Condition: "Comm Lost"
SOLUTION TO HANDSET - "COMM LOST" (COMMUNICATION LOST)

“Comm Lost” means that system can no longer communicate with Handset. First try charging  Handset to ensure that is not the issue. If Handset shows frequent “Comm Lost” message and then “Comm Restored” message, you should delete Handset from system and re-add using Console:
1.  Select MENU, scroll to Security Setup and press Enter.
2.  Enter Master Code*.
3.  Press Select and scroll to GC’s or Handset.
4.  Press Select and Scroll to and select Handset.
5.  Press Select then scroll to DELETE.
6.  When Console asks “Are you sure you want to delete handset 1?” select OK.
 
(NOTE: DO NOT USE THE CONSOLE FOR STEPS 7-9)
 
7.  Place Handset into “Reg Mode”.
8.  Remove Handset Battery, then reconnect Battery and press and hold pound (#) and start (*) keys.
9.  Hold until screen reads “Not Registered”.
10. Select “Add New” on Console and “Search” on Handset.
11. Repeat until two devices “find” each other.
