Trouble Condition: "Lost Base"
SOLUTION TO "LOST BASE"
If your Console says “Lost [Base Name]” double check to make sure there is power [see Trouble Condition: "No A/C" (No Power)].  If power is confirmed, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
  1. Unplug power cord from back of Base, remove battery but leave Ethernet cable plugged in
  2. On Console, press MENU button
  3. Scroll down to Security Setup and press SELECT.
  4. Enter your Master Code*
  5. Scroll down to GCs or Handset and press SELECT
  6. Scroll down to Base [Name] and press SELECT
  7. Scroll down to DELETE and press DELETE. Then press OK
  8. On Base, plug in, then press and hold PAGE button on front
  9. Wait until you hear 2 short beeps and a loud whistling sound, then let go
  10. On Console, under GCs and Handsets, scroll to Add New and press SELECT
  11. You should see the message “Base Found” and then “Base Added”. You can edit the name if you wish, and press OK
  12. Press TALK/END button on Console and check to see if “Lost Base” message has disappeared. If the “Lost Base” message still appears on Console, please call LifeShield Customer Support at 877-464-7437
