This is a setting for the Max Record Time feature included in the LifeShield Telephone Answering Machine. The Announce Only setting presents the caller with the users greeting, but does not allow the caller's message to be recorded.

When the LifeShield System is armed AWAY, but you do not leave the Monitored Location, the System defaults back to armed STAY status. To change this default setting, Auto Stay can be set to "No" from My LifeShield.

TheAuto-Delete feature on My LifeShield will automatically delete the oldest snapshot images from on-line storage as new snapshots are captured, when the on-line storage limit for the account is reached (100% full).

Arm AWAY when leaving the Monitored Location. All Sensors are monitored (except those designated as a "Non-Monitored Type). An audible Exit Delay and Entry Delay will sound.
If a Sensor that is designated as a door does not open and close during the Exit Delay, the System will default to the STAY armed status.

The LifeShield Handset provides portable control of the LifeShield Security System. It is a full-featured cordless, WiFi-friendly 2.4GHz digital telephone. A Charging Cradle and power supply are included with the Handset, as the Handset is charged by placing it in the Charging Cradle.

Home Alerts are messages regarding important information about the LifeShield Security System. Home Alerts are indicated by a flashing blue light on the Handset or Console.

| Home Connect |
The Home Connect feature allows you to monitor another home that has a LifeShield Security System. The Home Connect feature is available to users by invitation only. Invitations can be sent and redeemed on the My LifeShield website. Connections can also be configured using My LifeShield.
You can connect to a Home Connect participant by pressing the CONNCT soft key on the Console, or by selecting it from the MENU on the Handset. Home Connect allows you to Arm and Disarm another system, and receive Alarm Notifications regarding that System.

The HomeView Camera provides you to see what is happening at home. The Camera connects to the LifeShield System through the home's broadband Internet network and is accessible through the My LifeShield website.

Arm INSTANT is used for Arming the InGrid System in the evening, when no one is expected to enter or leave the home. There is no Entry or Exit Delay supported, and an Alarm will sound immediately upon faulting an Armed Sensor.

The LifeShield System has a built-in Phone Book capability that can store up to 99 phone numbers and/or Caller ID messages.

| Practice |
Once the LifeShield Security System is activated, it is placed into a Practice state. The Practice state allows you to learn the System without causing false alarms. During this time, the Monitored Location is considered Not Monitored, and there will not be a dispatch of authorities should there be an alarm. This typically lasts seven days.
