Home Monitoring [hohm] [mon-i-ter-ing]: the ability to observe, oversee or supervise your home through security system devices.

There are two ways your LifeShield alarm system is monitored. The home security monitoring center is manned 24-7 with operators that understand a fast response is critical. During an emergency, the monitoring center will dispatch local police, fire or medical authorities to your home. An emergency is signaled if you’ve pressed your alarm’s panic button or a sensor had been triggered and you need help. Because your home is continuously monitored, your home and family will always be protected.

LifeShield’s home monitoring is also a way you, the user, can keep an eye on your home while you’re away. With wireless cameras placed around your home, you’ll be able to check in on your home so you know exactly what’s going on. Triggered by an alarm event, the camera will take still images or short video clips capturing the event. You’ll be able to view these events through LifeView web or mobile access, a free service offered to all customers. With home monitoring you can check on your pets, make sure your kids got home from school okay, etc. Seeing your home is safe and secure when you are not there will provide peace of mind.
